5. How much does a cubic yard of concrete weigh?

A solid slab of concrete weighs about two tons (4,000 pounds) per cubic yard.  Keep this in mind when considering transportation and site preparation.

6. Can I convert bag quantities to cubic yards with the ready-mix calculator?

While our RMC calculator focuses on cubic yard estimates, it takes roughly 45 80-pound bags of concrete to equal one cubic yard. For larger projects, Aparna RMC provides ready-mix concrete solutions for efficiency and quality.

7. Should I use RMC or bagged concrete?
